Controller

[À COMPLÉTER : raison sociale] is the controller for account, billing and website processing. For videos uploaded by our business customers, they are the controller and we act as processor (see the data processing agreement). Contact: privacy@retakly.com.

Data processed

Account: email, name, language. Billing: information sent to Stripe (we do not store card numbers). Content: videos, audio tracks, transcripts, comments, notes. Usage: quota consumption, cost of AI service calls.

Viewers: by default, analytics use no cookies. A non-reversible daily fingerprint is used to count views. A viewer is only identified when logged in or invited.

Purposes and legal bases

Providing the service and managing your account (contract). Invoicing (legal obligation). Securing the service and preventing abuse (legitimate interest). Sending login, notification and invitation emails (contract). AI features only process your content when you ask.

Retention

Videos: as long as you keep them; the trash is permanently emptied after 30 days. Account: until deleted. Invoices: 10 years (accounting obligation). Security logs: 12 months.

Hosting and transfers

Data is hosted in the European Union. Some subprocessors are established in the United States; transfers rely on standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the Data Privacy Framework. The strict EU mode of the Team and Agency plans excludes any non-EU AI provider.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability (full export of your videos). Write to privacy@retakly.com. You can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Voice and voice cloning

Voice cloning features, when offered, will require your explicit consent, check that it is your own voice, and your voice model can be deleted at any time.
